Firstly, I loved the story. The characters, the world, it was very well described and vivid, and I enjoyed the plot.
What brought this down from a 4 or 5 star review were the mistakes. There were lots of simple spelling errors (usually words that have multiple spellings so wouldn't be noticed by a spell check), a lot of redundant, run-on sentences that did not add to the story, and there were formatting issues with reading it on my kindle app. I think if this story were better edited, I would definitely rate it at least 4, if not 5 stars. If you can look past the errors, you'll get to enjoy a wonderful book.

Amazing book! Kept me on the edge of my seat! The imagery is impeccable and the detail is enough to paint a beautiful picture without going on and on. Definitely glad that I read it, and absolutely recommend this extremely original story.
Great book!!
This was a really good read. The attention to detail painted a really good picture. More sci fi than what I normally read but really good nonetheless . I was surprised by the concept and found myself trying to put myself in the same position, and how insanely difficult it would be. Will definitely be awaiting the next book!!!
I really enjoyed the 1st volume. The author's descriptions are so vivid as to allow me to see the surroundings as I read. From what I gather this book would be classified as dystopia (An imaginary place or state in which the condition of life is extremely bad, as from deprivation, oppression, or terror). He brings his characters to life. I am looking forward to reading the next volume.
